A company in the field of inspection

The Iran Engineering and Industrial Inspection Company (IEI) was established in 1983 by the then Ministry of Heavy Industries as the first and oldest Iranian company with an independent and national identity in the field of technical inspection. In 1986, all shares of the Iran Engineering Inspection Company (iei) were transferred to the Iran Engineering and Industrial Inspection Company (IEI). The Iran Engineering and Industrial Inspection Company (IEI) (private joint stock) remained a subsidiary of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) until the end of 2004, and on 2005/04/13 it was transferred to the Teachers’ Investment Company and its ownership was assigned to the Teachers’ Reserve Fund.
IEI, through the management and organization of its provincial branches and 7 foreign branches and representatives in Germany, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, China, Japan, Brazil, and Russia, has provided highly valuable services across the world in various industries. With a network consisting of 600 headquarters staff and inspectors in Iran and about 1,000 inspectors outside Iran, and with extensive involvement in various projects, the company has so far successfully carried out more than 1,500,000 technical inspection assignments. These include supervision and control of raw materials, in‑process manufacturing, related tests, packaging, and shipment of all mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation industrial equipment required by the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, steel, industrial machinery, telecommunications, dams and power plants, transportation, rail industries, and more in nearly 60 countries worldwide. IEI has not only acted as a reliable arm of national industries, but has also maintained a strong presence among its foreign competitors at the international level.
